Motivational Leadership



One of the most persistent challenges of leadership is to motivate people. In fact, 90% of a leader's job is to encourage employees to do things they already know they should be doing it (forbes).
Motivational leadership is the ability to motivate and inspire others to bring out the best in them. Furthermore, by using motivational leadership employees improve productivity and a healthy work environment is created.

Here are some theories of inspirational & motivational leadership:

Usually this is the starting point of motivational leadership.  It means leaders are module role and example to others. They are the kind of people that everyone look up at, and want to follow their steps. Effective leaders watch their behavior at all times, even if no one is watching them, they behave as everyone is watching them (hrbartender.com).


Figuring Out What Motivates Others:

Each employee has a special characters and skills. Great leaders discover and value the unique abilities of their employees. They focus on their employees strengthens, and try to build on it (money-zine.com)



Maintain Open Communication:

Leaders should be available to answer their employees question, to give feedback, to listen to their opinion and negotiate plans. The present of leaders plays a large role in motivating them because it shows that leaders are taking an active role in project completion (smallbusiness).
